Online Strategy Games are a good strategy for having
lots of fun
Online strategy games are a great idea for carrying
your fun around with you, but you have to be flexible.
What is the greatest computer strategy game of all
time? It could be tic-tac-toe or solitaire. Although you don't have to
think back further than a few decades, this is a tough subjective call.
Computer strategy games
Maybe some of the first PC strategy games were chess
and some of those packman type games. However, you'll find there must be a
strategy for playing any good game.
Even solitaire is a good computer strategy game. If you
don't play your cards well, you will never get to see that bouncing demo.
Actually, solitaire is a relaxing little strategy game.
My dad taps away at it on his smart phone (palm) device sometimes.
Online strategy games
Sometimes I'd rather play online strategy games than
running a game application from my hard drive. Here's why...
I could play the game from any computer - it doesn't
have to be the one at home. My game follows me wherever I go. Now, that's
good strategy, I think.
The drawback on having your strategy game online is
that sometimes the Internet connection is not all that good, or a
particular computer might not have certain drivers or utilities
installed...
...like when we were at a hotel in Tennessee and could
not install DirectX on a hotel computer. You just have to "watch your game
go".
Use a simple strategy
Don't forget the simple online strategy games such as
tic-tac-toe. Though some of these are just introductory versions, they
offer a great strategy for defeating stress.
If you cannot play online, there is always the board
games of chess, checkers, monopoly, and hundreds more. Bottom line?
There is always a workable strategy of carrying your
fun around. |
