Online Games - Some Considerations & Cool Stuff
Oh, there are tons of online games for kids nowadays.
We have gone through the neopets, power pets, alfy games, Disney games, and racing
games.
Everybody is competing for your click. Or actually, they
want your email address or your parents email address.
First, Dangers of Online Games
The first thing I will mention is that you should beware
of spyware! If your parents use the same computer to do their taxes or
banking, you should try to avoid playing on that computer.
This is important, especially if you do not have
individual accounts on the computer. Windows XP and 2000 allow you to create
individual accounts so that each user can have more privacy and security.
Many of these online games providers, plant cookies and
tracking software on your computer. These can be nagging sometimes. One
recently hijacked our browser - replacing everybody's start page to some
foolish website.
Beware of the dangers of online game. If you want to get
rid of spyware or adware on your computer, go to
dad's computer checkup site.
Cool Online Games
Do you like to play Book Worm? It is a great online game.
Actually, you can buy it, but they offer it online free as well. It is more
like a puzzle than a game.
Actually, the difference between some of these games and
puzzles is puzzling to me. Call them puzzle-games. They are fun, anyway you
look at it. Here are some of my
favorite online game sources. These are not in any special order, although I
seem to remember them in this same order whenever I tell friends about my
special game sites.

popular Cubis Gold that everybody is raving about. Fresh Games also carries

PopCap Games - If you are a parent that is
concerned about your kid playing addictive
games, there is one game that you would actually love your child to
be addictive to - Bookworm, from PopCap. Bookworm is very positively
addictive! Look for Bookworm (my favorite) but remember,
PopCap has tons of games that you and your family can enjoy. Everyone in
my family plays Bookworm!

Awem Studio - If you like arcade-style games with
breathtaking sound and graphics then you may want to get your eyes on Star
Defender. Warning: Although this game may help you to relax after a
hard day's work, please don't play it before you do your homework - or, you
could be tempted to tell a lie tomorrow!
